Septoplasty

Septoplasty is done in cases where the partition of cartilage and bone dividing the nose into two parts is bent or overgrown causing nose block. The procedure is performed intranasally without any external incisions. Nasal packs may sometimes be required and are usually removed after 48 hours. The patient is discharged once the nasal packs are removed.

The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia.
